At the age of 13, I decided I would own a business. I became an entrepreneur and opened my first business when I was 17 years old. Over two decades on, I have started, developed and sold more than 10 enterprises, many of which have been multi award winning.
I was not born successful. I have been where you were right now, I know what keeps you up night and how overwhelming it can feel to get through issues at the various business cycles, and to be successful and free.
I want to help you! The extensive experience and seasoned skills I have developed across more than 2 decades allows me to quickly identify core issues in a business and understand my client’s strengths and weakness. My approach has been proven, my clients all achieve results through measured accountability.
I was raised on a farm in Australia to Italian parents.
This humble, grounding upbringing was a key to my making. My personal experience being raised in an Italian community taught me about generosity, relationships, hard work, community and good food.
I knew I wanted to improve and build on my upbringing.
This burning desire led me to running my first business from the age of 17 years.
Education was not my focus
Although I didn’t go through the traditional pathway to business success, my first business was my real life MBA. Since then I studied (finance, management ect) to learn the additional frameworks to serve my clients at the highest level to inspire, educate, motive and stretch their thinking to develop their business.
That said… I do believe in self education.
It was my burning desire to be successful, my determination, perseverance, passion, and focus on doing the right things to beat the test of time, which are all fundamental ingredients that contributed the most to position me were I am today.
I’m often asked, what my greatest lesson has been ?
This has to be knowing when to put the breaks on.
Then like many successful modern families, in particular career mums, my greatest challenge is juggling the demands as a mum, wife and business women. The three are all very important to me, therefore retaining focus and momentum to do well in all areas of life whilst juggling being a hands on mum to our two very determined young children within an already very busy esablished schedule can be tough.
So you might be thinking, how do you do it?
Scheduling time most days for self care and working out is my secret. A regular date night with my husband is also key.
Although it is full on, I would not change it for anything in the world. With each stage of business and life, I have found reinventing myself to continue to progress with purpose brings me great happiness and satisfaction.
This stage in life is very rewarding, my journey and stage in life has enabled me to have a greater empathy and deeper connectivity with others to serve, which I would not have developed if I was not a mum.
